In order for every project to progress smoothly, there needs to be a plan. Architects’ job is designing, planning and organizing different construction projects. The world of architecture is dynamic one, which changes rapidly with the developments of other related fields. The UBT college of Kosovo offers a program in architecture and spatial planning that considers these changes, and educates students with the latest findings of the field. Research is greatly emphasized for the importance of new findings and keeping up with the change in the world of architecture. The program adopts a process-oriented curriculum and offers theoretical and practical courses to its students. Supporting the practical education, the university offers laboratory experiences and internships in different companies working in the field of architecture.

There are various areas that students do need to focus on and conduct research on those. For this reason, students of the faculty of architecture can use different laboratories that are present at the UBT college. There are several laboratories specific for the faculty of architecture too. IT laboratory, materials laboratory, and modelling laboratory are the specific labs of this faculty. The faculty has its own exercise rooms and exhibition centers where students can practice individually and exhibit their work to their fellow students.

The architecture program doesn’t only aim at fiving the basic knowledge of architecture to its students. This program aims at educating skillful architects who will implement the learned knowledge in actual architecture projects. Another objective of this program is educating life-long learners. Since architecture is an ever-changing field, keeping up with these changes is more than necessary for its students. Hence, being involved in research and continuously learning about the new findings in the field of architecture is crucial. It also aims at educating its students with the latest international standards, therefore, has signed various types of partnership agreements with different universities such as the Polytechnic university of Milan, University of Vienna and etc.
